Gourmet Burgers | The Bite

The Bite is a Swiss-Canadian gourmet burger restaurant, opened in August 2013 in Zurich district 4. We discovered the restaurant a little while ago and have been there several times. The burgers are world class and the fries...simply delicious. This is also the reason why we've visited The Bite several times: Burgers are amazing!

The Bite places great importance to high-quality ingredients, which are used for handmade burger creations.

The atmosphere is characterized by changing art exhibitions and uncomplicated, nice service.

We absolutely LOVE the bacon burger (with thick-cut bacon, sweet patato-chips & pickled red onions) so we had to order it once more:

We absolutely love the animal fries (thousand island sauce, cheddar cheese & roasted shallots, yes, OMG!). This time we decided to eat the normal french fries, which we have eaten with the incredibly delicious homemade sauces. Yum Yum...

The only point of criticism: The restaurant is always very crowded (therefore it's very loud) and you don't have much space to sit (in our opinion). Without reservation it's difficult to get a table. The light is very dimmed, which is great for the homely atmosphere but not optimal for our camera ;-)

Nice place to grab a burger, fries and a cold beer!

If you don't mind paying the price (worth it!) and are in the neighborhood you can satisfy your craving.
