Art Afternoon Tea | The Dolder Grand
Is there anything better on these cold days than lingering next to a crackling fireplace, enjoying lovely savory and sweet delicacies while marveling at selected art pieces? We think this is definitely the perfect setup for those who appreciate the beautiful things in life.
At the Dolder Grand, you can now discover an extensive Art Afternoon Tea with creative interpretations by star pâtissier Christian Hümbs, which are inspired by the artwork in the Dolder Grand. Enjoy this get-together with a curated selection of Länggass tea while listening to atmospheric live music.
The great offer includes savory such as duck liver macaron with plum, smoked salmon on blini with apple wasabi cream or potato tart with egg yolk and Balik caviar.
Also, the sweet temptations are small works of art – pâte au choux with vanilla chantilly and blackberry or dulcey mousse with chocolate sablé – just to name a few. The scones to finish this journey, on the other hand, seem almost very traditional. At the Art Afternoon Tea at the Dolder Grand, however, these are creatively served on a pallet, with the clotted cream and the bitter orange jam coming in color tubes.
These delights can be enjoyed with a great tea accompaniment, which perfectly underlines the various delicacies.
Let the Dolder Grand's impressive art collection literally melt in your mouth - at the Art Afternoon Tea. Discover a new interpretation of the English Afternoon Tea in an artistic way and celebrate a cozy get-together by the fireplace with hearty snacks, outstanding pastry by Christian Hümbs and a great tea journey.
